It turns out that you can't turn left on red from a one-way street onto another one-way street in DC. CT, ME, MO, NH, NJ, RI and SD are the other states that disallow this logically permissable maneuver. Thankfully, the DC cop who pulled me over at 22nd and M wasn't confident in the face of my arguing that I was right and let me go.
I really enjoyed driving for the limo company for the last two days. I drove some rich dudes who were very nice and a pretty lady who was also nice. But goddamned if the bad things about the job didn't piss me off the instant they started (near crashes, sudden calls, waiting). One more run on sunday morning (sadly I didn't get a meet the press run which I enjoy alot, but I do get to drive the pretty lady again) then I'm definately done.

Bizarrely, my left knee is injured. I don't know of anything that I did to hurt it, but damn if it isn't hurt. Maybe, in a bout of irony, I strained it helping gimpy gabe move. I hope it's minor, because a knee injury is almost the last physical injury I would choose. And it's the week our hockey gets started up again. SHIT!
